New PC Quick Start Guide
1. Power On & Connect
1.1. Plug in your computer and power it on.
1.2. In Office Employees:

If docked: Ensure network cable is plugged in, and you are connected to the network (see bottom right corner in system tray) per screenshot below (skip to section 2):

If WIFI: Click on the WiFi icon in your computer’s system tray (bottom right-hand corner by the time/date) and connect to the corporate WiFi network “PFA-CORP” per the screenshot below skip to section 2):

1.3. Remote Employees:
- Click on the WiFi icon in your computer’s system tray (bottom right-hand corner by the time/date) and connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network.
- If using a company-provided VPN, you may need to log in to VPN after the initial login to connect to the corporate network.
L2. Log in to Your Computer
2.1. Enter Username (click on Other User): Provided by IT or Your Management
2.2. Use Temporary Password: Provided by IT or Your Management
2.3. Change Password: You will be prompted to create a new password. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Password requirements:
- Minimum 12 characters
- Include upper & lowercase letters
- At least one number and symbol
Note: If you see the message below when logging in, restart the PC and try again. If the issue persists, contact IT support.

3. Microsoft Office Setup (OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, etc)
Login to the Office365 website at https://www.office.com/ to change your password prior to opening Outlook (desktop app) for the first time. Enter your email address and temp password.
3.1 You will be prompted to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) with a series of prompts such as shown below:

3.2 Login to OneDrive using the icon on the system tray 
4. Connect to VPN
In the Taskbar, on the left-hand side click the “Search” box. Begin to type “Cisco Secure Client” and open the application when it appears.


4.2. Login with your username (email address) and email password
