Checking an Order for Holds
If an order is on hold, this is how you can identify the holds, if it is released, and what action needs to be taken:
- From the navigator, select Orders, Returns > Quick Order Organizer
- Enter the Sales Order number and click FIND
- Select the order in question and click the OPEN button
- Click into the Customer Name Field, right click, go down to Holds > View Holds (can also select Additional Order Information button and will produce the same screen for holds)
- With Holds present, scroll to the right and if there is not a Release Reason or Released By entry, then the order is still on hold.
Below are a few holds and how to resolve:

Credit Check Failure - Contact your credit representative for release

Credit Authorization Hold - Handled by the ISR who processed the order. This will require re-authorization of the card by selecting the Payments button on the Sales order and processing the payment.

Pending Process Payment Hold - Handled by the ISR, this is caused by not processing the credit card after marking it for prepay. open the payments screen on the order and select process payment.

XX Export Order Process Hold - Line - Will need to be released by the PCM as one of the addresses (Bill To or Ship To) is outside of the country which will require release for the order to proceed.

XX Gross Margin Hold - Trade Margin is below set threshold for the location. PCM will need to release the hold for the order to proceed.

Cancel Pick QTY Hold - Order was shipped with a cancel QTY entered on the line, this prevents the order from picking again and will cancel at night. New pick if needed will print the next day (no updates can occur until then).

XX Carrier Issue Line Hold - Hold placed by warehouse on shipment to prevent billing, will be removed via the following in shipping transactions:
- Open the order in shipping transactions
- Click the delivery tab
- Click reports in the tool bar
- Select the release hold option
- Select a reason and then click release hold.
- This must be done if there are multiple different delivery numbers.
